Laura J. Fischer, Esq.

Laura is a '98 graduate of Duke Law School. She has over 20 years of experience as a lawyer and has had her own Trusts and Estate practice for over 15 of those years. Her practice focuses on Estate work, comprised of Basic and Complex Estate Planning, as well as Surrogate's Court work in Probate and Administration.

Laura is admitted to practice law in the State of New York and is a member of the New York State Bar Association. She was also educated in mediation at the Peace Institute in New York City and trained in the Civil Court of Brooklyn.

Julie B. Zgoda, Esq.

Julie received her Bachelor of Science in marketing, cum laude, in May of 2009 from St. John's University. She attended Pace University School of Law where she received her Juris Doctor in May of 2014, Dean's List recognitions. She joined Fischer Harbage & Associates, PLLC in September 2021.

Julie focuses her practice of law on Estate Planning, Trust and Estate Administration, Elder law and Long-term Care Planning. As an elder law attorney, Julie has assisted many clients with long-term asset preservation planning including establishing Medicaid Asset Protection Trusts. She has also handled guardianship proceedings under Article 81 of the Mental Hygiene Law and Article 17A of the Surrogate's Court Procedure Act and has acted as Guardian, Court-Appointed Counsel and Court Evaluator under the Part 36 Rules of the Chief Judge in the State of NY.

As an estate planning and administration attorney, Julie has formulated several estate plans for clients, including high net worth clients, which involved the drafting and funding of various Irrevocable/Revocable trusts, Last Wills & Testaments and ancillary documents. Julie has also prepared several probate/administration petitions and guided clients throughout the estate administration process.

Julie is admitted to practice law in the State of New York and is a member of the New York State Bar Association.
